Design Incidentals focuses on photography and design, especially surrounding Disney and the state of Florida.
I’m a Disney Native. I’ve been going to Walt Disney World (and Disneyland Paris) since I was a small child. I have always been fascinated by little details, and the Disney parks gave me more details than I even noticed. I realized one day that there are a number of areas in the parks that no one ever goes, yet they’re well decorated all the same, because the guest can see them from some angle or another. On that same vein I noticed the lights of Disney, all the lanterns, chandeliers, and sconces. I love the play of light and shadow, and the intricate details of the light sources themselves kept me occupied for days at a time trying to photograph them all. Eventually I decided to collect them all together and share them with the general public.
